A F4U Corsair — the same type of aircraft flown during the Marine Corps Air Facility at Walnut Ridge in 1944–1945 — has just landed at the Walnut Ridge Airport after its flyover of Walnut Ridge and Pocahontas. Come see this incredible piece of living history on static display this afternoon, then join us at 2:00 PM at the Wings of Honor Museum for our 81st Anniversary Program commemorating the Marine Corps Air Facility Walnut Ridge.
