Apr 17, 2008 · YEP, Just one of many current British based saxophonists , e.g; Peter King, Bobby Wellins, Tommy Smith, Tim Garland , Alan Barnes , Mornington Lockett, Julian Seigal, Tony Kofi, Soweto Kinch, Renato D'Aeillo and Gilad Atzmon ( If he could get an entry visa!) , to name but a few, who would wow US audiences if only they could get the gigs!

Aug 2, 2011 · The British jazz/rap artist Soweto Kinch has used a variety of adaptions to his sound with pedals very successfully and memorably. If my memory serves me right I've heard him use a fuzzed up alto sound in a gig a few years back, although the fuzz wasn't quite as tight sounding as usually heard from electric guitar.
