The following is a list of resources available to cadets at the United States Military Academy (USMA). Additionally, talk to your advisor, make visits to offices on campus, ask questions, be proactive!

U.S. Corps of Cadets. The West Point student body is known as the United States Corps of Cadets. The Corps is one of of the most cohesive student bodies in the world - and a part of the Long Gray Line.

The United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point challenges cadets to become the best versions of themselves. Through a 47-month experience, cadets are exposed to academic, military, and physical opportunities that develop them into leaders of character.

West Point's Physical Program prepares cadets for the physically demanding requirements of an Army officer. Cadets develop the ability to maintain personal and unit fitness, foster the warrior spirit, build an appreciation for teamwork, and inspire the will to win.

The Cadet Mess Hall provides three structured meals per day in support of cadet health and wellness. Meals support both cognitive performance for academic excellence, as well as preparation for, and recovery from, exercise and training.

As the nation’s first military academy, West Point prepares young men and women to become officers in the U.S. Army. Cadets attend the academy for four years, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree and a commission as a second lieutenant.

The mission of Cadet Field Training (CFT) is to develop, train, test, and validate the foundational military competencies to prepare third-class cadets to assume duties as non-commissioned officers (NCOs) in the Corps of Cadets.
