Oct 25, 2016 · The bracket is long enough to cover a couple of studs, with several mounting holes in the top (again, from memory). I havent wall mounted a powerwall, but have wall mounted several TVs from 40inch ones up to my 150 lb 85 inch Main TV, so am fairly familiar with that process and it looked similar.

Dec 18, 2024 · new model Y delivered yesterday and had electrician install wall connector. The wall connector blinks blue but doesn’t charge. The vehicle Tesla logo is solid dark blue. Notes: The electrician configured the connector and I see it on my home wifi; I registered the wall connector no the Tesla app. I don’t see anything for diagnostics

Dec 21, 2024 · In the US, code requires a 240VAC wall socket have a Ground Fault Interruption (GFI) circuit in the breaker box when said socket’s where a Tesla would use it (outside or in the garage). Cost of this, plus the cost of the industrial grade socket itself is pretty close to that of a TWC, which does happen to have a GFI inside.

Maximizing Powerwall battery life: backup-only or self-powered?
Jan 22, 2020 · Im not versed enough to provide that much advice on that, lol. I have done a fair amount of reading on batteries since becoming a tesla car owner (sort of comes with the territory I guess) and one thing I feel comfortable saying is that its "better" for the battery to have more frequent, shallower charge /discharge cycles than to have larger 0-100 charge / discharge cycles.

May 12, 2020 · Tesla's solar is now sold only with PowerWall, and other storage systems (Enphase and LG) do support grid charging. So, gird charging is a win for battery owners, dramatically reduces costs for utilities (and thus for their non-sola customers as well), and sells Tesla and other's batteries. A win, win, win, win deal which even Tesla can not ignore.

Dec 14, 2021 · The Tesla Model Y's heat pump may use some of the heat from the warm battery coolant to warm the passenger cabin as soon as you start driving even if this means that regenerative braking may be reduced. During preconditioning the Tesla Model Y no longer heats the battery as much as in the past. This saves energy and preconditioning takes less time.

Dec 18, 2020 · Has anyone had the light on their Tesla Wall Connector blink blue? I've seen stationary blue and blinking green but never blinking blue. I've tried to search high and low and haven't found an answer. I also don't see any errors. Any help is appreciated.
