Sep 17, 2022 · Dbrand Dark Plates 2.0 have been tested several times with multiple youtube videos. Testing has been done with multiple ssd types. I have had mine on since release of the plates. I have a 2 tb Samung 980 Pro in my PS5. 0 issues. I also constantly clean it and have it in a clean ventilated area. I think alot of people dont clean.

Nov 3, 2023 · There is no difference between our Darkplates and the original face plates of the PS5 when it comes to mounting or positioning. While we have changed the shape of the top of the plates, as well as added vents to the sides, these changes shouldn't interfere with your ability to use mounts and stands in either vertical or horizontal positions.

Whether that means curved plate similar to the fat ps5 disc version or a new plate thats more extended to look flat/symetrical even with disc drive. Lots of empty hollow space for airflow design or add usb ports.

Nov 12, 2020 · The size of the plates seems quite large for most desktop FDM printers. A better approach may be stick on coverings made on something like a cricut that you put on the regular ps5 plates. That being said, when my PS5 arrives I'll see if I can get a good lidar scan of the plates to make a printable version.
