Apr 16, 2020 · Based on Microsoft official document, it is not available to add a Planner tab to a private channel in Teams. When you create a plan, an Office 365 group is created to support your plan, so this is why we cannot add a planner tab to create task in private channels. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
