August 22, 2024 - Oneida County Health Department, along with Rome City School District and the City of Utica, is setting up mobile vaccination clinics in Oneida County to offer vaccines to school-aged children.

The Oneida County Health Department (OCHD) announced today that it has scheduled a rabies vaccination clinic on October 17, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Town of Trenton Offices. Appointments are required for the clinic and can be made by calling 315-798-5064 or online at ocgov.net/rabies.

The raccoon was sent to the New York State Department of Health Wadsworth Center for testing on January 30, 2024 and positive results were reported on January 31, 2024. There are no known exposures.
