Oct 4, 2004 · On PS5, with the great selection of digital games on PS Plus Collection, I am really hoping I can download the likes of the digital God of War and Days Gone, and load up my old disc saves and continue on. I am really hoping Sony has sorted this out, especially now that they have a digital-only console.

Oct 4, 2004 · On the few occasions I have tried to play a digital copy on PS5 (and PS4 in the past) where I previously had save files from a disc playthrough, this has never worked for me. Much like my example above of The Quarry on Xbox, I’d like to do the same with upcoming PS5 games The Last of Us Remake and God of War Ragnarok.

Aug 7, 2022 · Sign in and download your games then move them to an external HDD to take back to your machine and install them that way. I'm assuming you're talking about digital games though as with discs then you just stick that in and it will install (although there will be updates no doubt).
