May 5, 2019 · Following a week-long open house in April, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles rededicated the Memphis Tennessee Temple on Sunday, May 5, 2019, in one session. Members of the Church gathered in the temple for the sacred service.

Just weeks before the Memphis Tennessee Temple open house, the temple and grounds were nowhere near ready for visitors. But acting on faith, the community fasted and worked for a miracle to complete the project on time.

The 10,700-square-foot temple’s exterior is Imperial Danby white marble. Currently, there are more than 20 temples in various stages of construction or have been announced throughout the world. Visit MormonTemples.org for additional information.
