While some long-range models have shown very slim chances for snow in Florida, meteorologist Eric Burris reminds you not to fall for the hype. Here's what those models mean:

No snow is in the forecast as of now, but if we were to get snow in Florida, it would most likely be along Interstate 10 if an arctic air mass was to move squarely toward the Gulf Coast and create an area of low pressure near Tallahassee, Florida, which then moves into the Carolinas.

Emergency services are warning people against non-essential travel as an Arctic weather blast continues. The Met Office has issued an amber warning for snow and ice for most of the North East and Cumbria from 21:00 GMT on Saturday until midnight on Sunday.

A powerful snow and ice storm, followed by Arctic air, will bring dangerous cold to the eastern U.S., plunging temperatures far below normal and highlighting extreme weather driven by climate change.
