Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow issued a short message on social media to fans in the wake of his team being eliminated from the playoffs over the weekend. Over on Instagram, Burrow wrote the following in the caption of a picture: “Season to remember, sorry you won’t get to watch anymore. Year 5 in the books.”

The Bengals are still gasping for air, as they can only advance to the postseason with a win and losses for both the Broncos and Miami Dolphins. But the fact that this highly flawed squad is even in contention in Week 18 is a testament to Burrow's relentless brilliance.
