Having a big season for an MLB player can be a blessing or a curse. Not really a curse, like selling Babe Ruth to the Yankees cursed the Red Sox all those years, but maybe burden is the right word.

"Starting pitching" ideally would've meant more than one starting pitcher, and ideally they would've been slightly younger ...
