Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves was one of the Army personnel in the Black Hawk helicopter that collided with American Airlines 5342 Wednesday.

The names of two of the three soldiers who were on the U.S. Army helicopter that collided with an American Airlines flight on have been released.

The two pilots had a combined total of 1,500 flight hours and the crew chief was a senior aviator with at least 500 hours in the air.

The U.S. Army released the identities Friday of two men who died after the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter they were in crashed into a passenger jet on Wednesday in Washington, D.C.

The training plan was for a continuity of government mission in which U.S. leaders need an emergency evacuation to safety in the event of a major attack.

The Army has identified the third crew member of a Black Hawk helicopter who died in the collision with a commercial jet in the skies over Washington last week as Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach, 28, of Durham, N.C.
