The West Indies Cricket Board has announced that Australia will tour the Caribbean in June and July for a three-test series and five Twenty20 internationals.

As mentioned, the West Indies tour is set to commence two weeks after Australia's World Test Championship final against South Africa at Lord's, beginning June 11. The close schedule highlights the Australian team's dedication to international cricket and their willingness to play back-to-back high-profile matches.

The opening Test in Barbados will be the first encounter since the West Indies’ famous Shamar Joseph-led victory in the day-night Test match at the Gabba in 2024. The Aussies will then travel to Grenada where they have never played Test match cricket.

West Indies will begin their World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle with three home Tests against Australia. Cricket West Indies (CWI) revealed an action-packed schedule for the senior men's and women's teams from May to December 2025,

West Indies' 2025 home schedule features a highly anticipated Test series against Australia, their first since 2015. Scheduled across June and July, the series is part of the ICC World Test Championship.

Australia will have only a matter of days between the World Test Championship Final and the first Test of their West Indies tour.
