ST. GEORGE, Utah — The city of St. George is bracing for fire season, and on Thursday evening the city council passed this year's fireworks restriction map.

The maps approved by the committee on Monday largely follow the current set of voting district maps, with the congressional map lumping St. George together with parts of Salt Lake County.
