Less than a month after its release, the second season of "Squid Game" has already become the third most successful series in Netflix's streaming history, beaten only by season one and the US comedy horror series "Wednesday".

Season 2 of "Squid Game" has been sitting comfortably at the No. 1 spot of Netflix’s top 10 list since its debut, but it’s finally been unseated — by an unlikely show

Within four days of its December 26 debut, Squid Game Season 2 garnered 68 million views, making it Netflix’s biggest TV launch ever. By day 11, the series had soared to 126.2 million views, setting a new record for the most views any Netflix show has achieved in that timeframe.

Netflix Inc. closed 2024 with its biggest quarterly subscriber gain in history, buoyed by its first major live sporting events and the return of Squid Game.
