The fourth film in the Paramount Pictures franchise has grossed a series-best $422 million in theaters and generated more than $180 million in home entertainment rentals and purchases.

A release date has been set for the fourth Sonic the Hedgehog film which will introduce some more iconic characters from the video game franchise.

Following the tremendous box office success of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Paramount has announced that a fourth film, Sonic the Hedgehog 4, is coming to theaters on March 19, 2027.

Paramount has dated the fourth entry in its Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will hit theaters on March 19, 2027, it was announced on Tuesday.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is set to hit theaters on March 2027. According to Variety, Paramount has scheduled the next Sonic movie to hit the big screen on March 19, 2027 give us two years until we see the blue blur back in action.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the latest film based on the SEGA video game has earned over $420 million worldwide to date, MAKING IT the highest grossing of the three Sonic films and propelling the franchise’s global box office past $1 billion.
