Winter storm watch issued for six states including New York with up to 20 inches of snow possible
It has been reported that six states, including parts of New York, have been placed under a winter storm watch. Weather experts have predicted that it is possible the six states could receive up to 20 inches of snowfall.
Winter Storm Blair Warning for 13 States as 16 Inches of Snow Possible
West Virginia: In western Grant and western Pendleton counties, 6 to 10 inches of snow is possible. In western Greenbrier County, 2 to 7 inches is predicted. Northern portions of the state could get 4 to 12 inches of snow, while the central and southeast sectors of the state could see 5 to 10 inches.
Westmoreland Ridges and Fayette Ridges under a winter storm watch Sunday and Monday – up to 10 inches of snow
On Friday at 4:47 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch valid from Sunday 1 p.m. until Monday 7 p.m. for Westmoreland Ridges and Fayette Ridges.
UPDATE: Winter weather advisory issued for Yancey and Mitchell counties until early Saturday – up to 3 inches of snow
On Friday at 3:44 a.m. the NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC issued a winter weather advisory valid from 10 a.m. until Saturday midnight.
