The Iowa high school basketball season is well underway and there are plenty of games to keep an eye on, both boys and girls, happening around the state Tuesday night. Check out scores from many of the games across the state below.

Here is a look at this week’s High School on SI Top 10 Iowa high school girls basketball rankings by class for the week of Jan. 13: 1. Johnston (11-0) Previous rank: 1 Convincing wins over Waukee and Southeast Polk keep the Dragons moving right along.

Central Florida high school girls’ basketball teams continue to rack up big numbers on the court this season. We looked at schools in seven area counties (Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Volusia, Brevard and Indian River) and compiled the High School on SI Top 25 Central Florida girls’ basketball rankings.

Section III teams were featured in the latest state girls basketball rankings from the New York State Sportswriters Association. Indian River, Westhill, Little Falls and Oriskany/Westmoreland were the only teams to move up spots.
