The Chicago Bears officially completed an interview with Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores for their head coach vacancy, the team announced on Saturday. Flores has been one of the hottest names on the market as multiple teams look to find their next head coach.

The Bears have confirmed interviewing 15 candidates, a list highlighted by Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, former Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, former Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy and former Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel, who got the job in New England.

The Jets are winding down their second full week of interviewing candidates for their vacancy. Flores is the 13th known person to interview. They also are expected to meet with their former quarterback and Vikings quarterbacks coach Josh McCown and Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley on Friday.

Brian Flores, 43, is maybe the most fascinating candidate interviewed so far. He has previous head coaching experience after his three-year stint with the Dolphins (2019-21).

The trio increased the list to 15 coaching candidates to meet with the Jets, who have also conducted 15 interviews for their general manager job.

It was reported on Tuesday that the Jets have an interest in a trio of Vikings with Flores as the head coach, Ryan Grigson as the general manager, and Josh McCown as the offensive
