Winnipeg Jets captain Adam Lowry has been labelled week-to-week with an upper-body injury by head coach Scott Arniel.

Winnipeg Jets head coach Scott Ariel announced that captain Adam Lowry will be out week-to-week with an upper-body injury. Lowry was injured during Monday night’s loss versus Utah Hockey Club when he crashed into the boards during the first period of play and did not return.

Lowry’s injury comes just as the Jets were on the cusp of being fully healthy, with defenceman Haydn Fleury also returning to the lineup on Wednedsay night for the first time since Dec. 23 and joining Appleton in making his return.

Considering Lowry was deemed week-to-week by head coach Scott Arniel on Wednesday, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see him landing on injured reserve. Additionally, the extra roster spot will allow the Jets to activate Mason Appleton (lower body) off IR ahead of Wednesday's clash with Colorado.
