Trackhouse Racing announced Red Bull will serve as primary partner for Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch in select Cup Series races.

Red Bull will serve as the primary sponsor on van Gisbergen’s No. 88 car for five Cup races. Those five races will be: Las Vegas (March 16), Sonoma (July 13), Iowa (Aug. 3), Daytona (Aug. 23) and Kansas (Sept. 28).

Red Bull is back in NASCAR racing through a partnership with Trackhouse Racing and drivers Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch. In addition to serving as the official energy drink of Trackhouse Racing,

Van Gisbergen has made a splash in the NASCAR paddock after all but dominating Australian V8 Supercars, winning on debut at the Chicago street course race in 2023. After running in the Xfinity series for 2024, he’s making a run at Cup with a partial season effort in 2025, running the Las Vegas, Sonoma, Iowa, Daytona, and Kansas rounds this season.

The return of Red Bull to NASCAR ends a 14-year drought. Red Bull ran its own team under the Team Red Bull banner from 2007 to 2011. The team was founded by the late Dietrich Mateschitz and Chaleo Yoovidhya and run by Jay Frye, who went on to become the IndyCar president.

Connor Zilisch set the Truck Series qualifying record at COTA. He would later go on to win in his Xfinity Series debut at Watkins Glen. When it comes to road course racin
