Honda Motors will be cautious about starting production of electric vehicles due to uncertainty about President-elect Donald Trump's industrial policy, a senior executive of the Japanese automaker said on Tuesday.

The Saloon and SUV are near-production models of the EV concepts Honda introduced at CES in 2024. They are slated for production in Ohio in 2026.

The Japanese automaker is full steam ahead on electrification with a tech-heavy lineup arriving in 2026. We were among the first to check out the new SUV and sedan here at CES 2025.

The vehicles are the Honda 0 Saloon, which is an updated version of a concept car revealed last year at CES, and the Honda 0 SUV.
