The New York Jets (4-12) move forward into the final stages of their 2024 NFL schedule with a 40-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 17. Following the defeat, as is always the case, we were taught a few things about this football team. There were nuggets to take away from all three phases of the game.

After the loss, Garrett Wilson did not sound too happy. The receiver was not involved in the game plan for long periods of the loss. When asked about it, he was not in a good mood after the game. Wilson did have six catches for 54 yards but he did not do any favors for anyone worried he might ask to be traded this upcoming offseason.

The Buffalo Bills were dominant in a 40-14 victory over the New York Jets. Buffalo’s defense posted a shutout for three quarters and then brought in backups during the fourth quarter. The Bills’ defense got some players back from injury and turned in one of their best defensive performances of the season.
