People who prefer putting up a fake Christmas tree are a little more lax when they take down their trees. Around the Gulf Coast, there’s also a pretty good reason to keep it up: Mardi Gras.
The lighting of the Mardi Gras tree originally planned for this Thursday at Mardi Gras Park has been pushed back to next Thursday, Jan. 16. Also, this week’s LoDa Art Walk has been canceled.
