The UConn women’s basketball team will look to maintain its momentum in a Big East rematch with Seton Hall after its statement win at South Carolina.

South Carolina earned a number one seed in the NCAA selection committee’s first top 16 reveal. The reveal was announced during the College GameDay broadcast from Colonial Life Arena on Sunday. The last two seasons there was little doubt that South Carolina would be the top overall seed.

After Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd came out of the game, they sat on the bench, towels draped around their shoulders, with wide smiles.
