Samsung is injecting another dose of artificial intelligence into its next lineup of Galaxy smartphones, escalating an effort to simplify people’s lives while deepening their dependence on a device that accompanies them almost everywhere.

Samsung is injecting another dose of artificial intelligence into its next lineup of Galaxy smartphones. Most of the hardware on the Galaxy S25 is mostly the same as last year’s model, except for a faster chip and a more powerful ultra wide lens on its improved camera.

We got a first look at the Galaxy S25 line and learned about Samsung -- and Google's -- AI advancements. Samsung's putting a lot more eggs in its AI basket this year, offering minimal hardware updates in favor of embedding the capabilities more deeply into its Samsung One UI 7 ( in beta since early December) and Android 15.
