MONTEVALLO, Ala. — A man was seriously injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash in a remote area of Montevallo on July 8, prompting a helicopter rescue by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

During that time, ALEA also says they arrested 46 individuals for Driving Under the Influence. Eight boating crashes were also reported during the weekend. No fatalities were reported.
