So, The SNL 50 Experience is a whirlwind of a time, and that’s putting it lightly. In the span of about 30 minutes, you are basically run through a mock show and a whole bunch of sets. It’s fast-paced, wild and very, very fun.

The concert will be followed on February 16 by a three-hour SNL50: The Anniversary Special. On February 15, NBC will re-air the very first episode of Saturday Night Live. The show debuted on October 11, 1975 with George Carlin hosting and Billy Preston and Janis Ian as the musical guests.

SNL50: The Homecoming Concert is executive produced by SNL producer Lorne Michaels and music producer Mark Ronson. The single night event will kick off the show’s celebratory weekend. On Sunday, Feb. 16, SNL 50: The Anniversary Special will air live at 8 p.m.

Former Saturday Night Live cast member and current The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon will emcee. Additional acts will be announced.
