The city of Pensacola is looking to get things back on track in the wake of an epic winter storm that slammed the Gulf Coast this week.
A ticket sold in Pensacola matched five numbers in the evening drawing Wednesday, Jan. 22, to win the $111,892.95 jackpot, according to the Florida Lottery. The lucky player purchased the winning ticket at the Palafox Quick Stop convenience store, beating odds of 1 in 376,992 to take the top prize, officials said.
