Boston Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman highlighted his close friendship with Linus Ullmark with a special reaction to a social media post.
Ottawa Senators goaltender Linus Ullmark has been sidelined for over a month with a back injury. He left a game against the Edmonton Oilers on Dec. 22 and has been out of action ever since.
In the first few months of the National Hockey League season, the Boston Bruins were getting inconsistent goaltending from their newly signed netminder Jeremy Swayman, and freshly acquired backup Joonas Korpisalo,

Geekie has recorded his team-leading 13 five-on-five strikes, three more than Pastrnak, by getting open, going to the front of the net and reading off his linemates well.

Significant question marks surround the goaltending position as the injury has bitten weeks before the start of the inaugural tournament by taking out two of their top options in the crease.

And it won’t stop any time soon. Swayman will be leading Boston through a fight to even get into the playoffs, a rare situation for a perennial contender. He will also be playing for the United States against Canada, Sweden and Finland in the 4 Nations Face-Off in Montreal and Boston from Feb. 12-20.
Head coach Travis Green says that Jensen won't play because of an undisclosed injury, while Travis Hamonic will make his return.

The New Jersey Devils (26-17-6) will host the Boston Bruins (23-19-6) on Wednesday at the Prudential Center with the puck dropping at 7:00 PM ET.
