Area school districts might have been impacted by the cyberattack of a nationwide education software cloud-based platform called PowerSchool, used to store sensitive student data.

Several central Ohio school districts, including Westerville, Upper Arlington and Grandview Heights, were affected by a PowerSchool data breach.

Greenville Public Schools said that through their communications with PowerSchool, they learned that the records of current GPS students were accessed.
