The Kansas City Chiefs are once again in a favorable position heading into this year’s playoffs. They had just two losses in the regular season, giving them the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a first-round bye.

With Thursday's practice in the books, the Chiefs are continuing to monitor injury situations with Jones, Pacheco, D.J. Humphries and others.

Jones has not yet been able to practice this week as he recovers from a calf injury. He is not expected to play in Week 18 but should be ready to return for the Chiefs’ eventual Divisional Round matchup in the playoffs.
