Some experts note he doesn’t have the prototypical size and speed of your typical featured running back in the NFL, hence his mid-round projection. However, they add that Skattebo runs strong and has an ability to break tackles with a low center of gravity. The NFL Draft takes place April 24-26, 2025.

And yet, in the opinion of NFL draft expert Dane Brugler of The Athletic, Skattebo isn't even a lock to get picked in the top-100 of the upcoming draft, to the point where he might just end up being a fourth-round pick if things break his way.
