Phil Orris was on his way to photograph some hares in one of his regular spots on the Shotley Peninsula when he looked over and saw a white-tailed eagle in a field getting mobbed by gulls.

The white tailed eagle is the largest bird of prey in the UK, with a wingspan of 2.5m Breed at 5 - 6 years of age. They spend the winter taking part in courtship and nest building activity.

Recently in Paris, Sony strapped its Action Cam Mini on a white-tailed eagle named Victor. It flew from the top of the Eiffel Tower, over the Seine, and down into the Trocadéro Gardens.
