Mike Tomlin has been a fixture for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but questions about his ability to evolve as an NFL head coach have grown louder. While this is not a call to fire him—acknowledging his accomplishments and stability—it is a critique of his shortcomings,

It did indeed. The Steelers offense was held back by poor play from quarterback Russell Wilson and far too many unforced errors by the offensive line. On defense the news was no better with Chiefs players running wide open in the passing game and quarterback Patrick Mahomes with far too much time to make plays.
