On Oct. 4, Spectrum made a statement on outages in their southeastern network via social media: On Oct. 7, individuals began seeing internet service restored in the Simpsonville and Mauldin area.

GREENVILLE — Spectrum's self-imposed deadline to fully restore service in South Carolina by the end of the day Oct. 16 has been pushed back as 34,000 remain without internet.
