The steering response has been quickened for a more engaging drive. Bentley believes you won’t miss the W-12’s soundtrack too much, as the new Speed features a standard sports exhaust system.

But Bentley killed off the W-12 at the time of the limited-production Batur, so the new Speed utilizes a beefed-up version of the Bentayga's V-8, which produces 15 more horsepower than the W-12.

That’s 99 hp and 59 pounds-feet more than the non-Speed Bentayga. It’s also 0.4 second quicker than Bentley claimed for the previous Speed and a full second quicker than the regular V-8 Bentayga.
