A new report claims that Samsung is working on a tri-fold smartphone that will launch before the end of this year.

CNN Underscored editors are turning our attention to all of the latest gear and gadgets out of CES 2025. On top of everything else Samsung is announcing, the brand is also gearing up for its latest Unpacked event later on in January.

Generally speaking, Samsung usually starts preorders for new phones directly after the keynote unveiling; meaning it's highly likely that the next range will be available to buy from January 22nd.

Do not throw away your old Galaxy phone or sell it on the secondary market. Samsung has shown in the last year that old handsets hold their value as they gather dust in your drawer.

A new report of out of Korea claims Samsung will release its triple folding phone this year, with a limited number of devices appearing in the latter half of 2025.

Samsung has been showcasing its triple-fold smartphone concept, but now it might see the light of day in 2025. But with high costs and low production, the Samsung tri-fold might materialise as much as it seems.

When Samsung introduced Galaxy AI on the Galaxy S24 series, there was an asterisk that suggested Galaxy AI features wouldn’t be free permanently. The footnote read: Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices.
