The San Francisco Giants are looking at a trade move for Cubs infielder Nico Hoerner to resolve their options at second base.
On Thursday, the Giants announced they have purchased the Curran Theatre, a 1,600-seat theater on Geary Street just two blocks from Union Square, from its previous owner, Carole Shorenstein Hays. The theater opened in 1922 and has hosted numerous off-Broadway shows.

The San Francisco Giants are one of the teams that are showing interest in a trade deal for the three-time All-Star, according to MLB insider Katie Woo of The Athletic. Woo reported that the Giants want Marte to solve their lack of offensive production at second base.
The Giants acquired catcher Daniel Susac. He is now the frontrunner to be the Giants’ backup to starting catcher Patrick Bailey.
