FILE – Eric Carmen, circa 1970. Eric Carmen, the lead singer of '70s pop rock band the Raspberries, has died at the age of 74, his wife Amy Carmen announced on the singer's website on Monday.

The Cleveland-based band released its debut album, Raspberries, in 1972, and the second single from the record, “ Go All the Way,” became their biggest hit and signature tune.
