A new One Piece anime focusing on the women of the series is coming soon. The announcement was made during One Piece Day in Tokyo. This anime will be based on the One Piece Novel Heroines light novel series,

Move aside, Luffy, a new One Piece anime is coming soon that will focus on a handful of fan-favorite heroines from the original series.

One Piece Heroines was a subseries of the One Piece manga that was initially released through the One Piece Magazine, a somewhat irregularly published "mook" magazine that features behind the scenes and additional information about the series. The magazine also features smaller chapters of stories, with One Piece Heroines being one of them.
