Originally released on home video, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: A Historical Perspective follows a more traditional approach to documentary filmmaking. Narrated by The Transformers voice actor Arthur Burghardt, we see some never-before-scene footage of Dr. King and elements of his life that weren’t covered in the previous documentaries.

With Martin Luther King day coming up, it’s a good time to take time to remember a man who’s words touched lives and changed minds. Martin Luther King Jr. was a baptist minister who played an important role in the American civil rights movement.

Hundreds converged along Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Central Long Beach on Saturday, Jan. 18, to honor and celebrate the legacy of the trailblazing activist who played a key role in driving the civil rights movement of the 1960s forward.
