He replies: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.

The calling of our faith is to put God first in our day-to-day living. Life works best when we give God first place in our daily lives and love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Of course, no Christian would claim perfection, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). However, Jesus calls us, as Christians, to spread his love to everyone.

Jesus said God's commandments were: love God with all your heart, and love other people as much as yourself. That's it.
