An LS truck water pump (2005 6.0L LQ4 GM PN 12703898 shown, left) is about 1-9/16 inches longer than a typical short Corvette pump (LS2/LS3/LS7 GM PN 12681186, right).

The LS1, LS6, and truck manifolds interchange, but the truck manifold is pretty tall so it might pose a hood-clearance issue. These engines share a common intake gasket design.
