BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) — Idaho Power has scheduled a planned power outage for Wednesday, July 9, from 5 PM to 9 PM, impacting areas of Blackfoot located east of Blackfoot High School.

Idaho Power spokesman said the company is working with affected customers to gather information and evaluate claims, and has not denied any claims related to the April 18 outages.

Idaho Power advises community members to prepare outage kits that include items like extra water, flashlights with batteries, blankets, non-perishable food and first-aid supplies.
