PHOTO: WVDOT NITRO, W.Va. — Motorists who travel east on Interstate 64 near Nitro have been getting acquainted with a set of dips on the Nitro-St. Albans bridge.

NITRO, W.Va. (WSAZ) - We have learned new information about a crash along I-64 in Nitro that has affected traffic between the Cross Lanes and Nitro exits.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Interstate 64 West is closed Monday night, just before the Nitro exit, due to a multiple-vehicle crash, Metro 911 says.

UPDATE, 6:00 p.m.- All lanes going northbound on I-64 are now back open following a crash between the Cross Lanes and Nitro exits. KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va.

The news release said the closure will run through 6 a.m. Thursday as crews prepare for eastbound approach repairs near the Nitro exit.
