The Hispanic Association for Cultural Enrichment at Rice, known as HACER, hosts an annual quince for a deserving student; it's a tradition that paused during COVID but has since returned.

EAST LANSING — Young Hispanic girls gathered Sunday at Eagle ... and it was her dream to host a “quince expo.” Samson founded the “Quinceañera Spectacular” to continue her mom's legacy.

People told 6 News that a Quinceanera is a massive milestone for many young women within the Hispanic community. The event was hosted by Pierre’s Bridal, Prom, and Tuxedo and Events 2 Envy.
