On 21st January, Netflix announced a new Harlan Coben series was officially in the works. They shared the update on their Instagram profile, with a picture of Harlan and series lead James Nesbitt holding the book the series is based on, Run Away.

James Nesbitt and Ruth Jones have been cast in Run Away, the new Netflix collaboration with author Harlan Coben. The upcoming eight-part series, based on Coben’s 2019 novel, sees Nesbitt play Simon Greene, a father whose world comes crumbling down after his daughter (Ellie de Lange) runs away from home.

Missing You centers on Kat Donovan (Rosalind Eleazar, best known for playing Louisa in Slow Horses ), a police detective obsessed with extracting the last remaining bit of information about her father’s murder from the imprisoned hit man (Warren) who confessed to the crime.

One of the most beloved stars from Gavin and Stacey, Ruth Jones, has secured a role in Harlan Coben's upcoming thriller set to premiere on Netflix. Jones, who co-created the BBC show and portrayed the unforgettable character Nessa, will feature in Coben's new series, Run Away.

James Nesbitt will begin filming later this month for the new Netflix adaption of Harlan Coben’s 2019 thriller Run Away. Alfred Enoch is well known for his role as Wes Gibbins in How to Get Away with Murder, as well as for portraying Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter film series. In addition to his screen work, he has appeared in British TV dramas like Sherlock and built a strong reputation in theatre with various Shakespearean roles. Enoch will play Isaac Fagbenle.
