A student from Emerald High School in Greenwood is one of 53 winners across the country in Google’s eighth annual Doodle 4 Google Competition.
Abbie Chartrand, a student at Fort Zumwalt Dubray Middle School in St. Peters, was chosen this month as the Missouri winner of the 10th annual Doodle 4 Google contest.
Rafael Gonzalez, a junior at Lower Cape May Regional High School, is one of 40 regional finalists in the nation out of 38,000 who entered a graphic art design contest sponsored by Google.
Her doodle is competing against 49 other state's student winners, where online voting will determine the winner. If she is one of four national finalists, she will win a $5,000 college scholarship.
